Online Tutoring

Please download the Zoom app before we begin our first session. A link will be sent to you to join the meeting. This app can be used on your desktop computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone.

Sessions can be recorded on Zoom by request and would be sent to you via email. By accepting a recording of our session, you agree that you will only use the video for your personal use and will never share or post the recording.

Session Length

The length of a session really depends on the student. Below are my recommendations as a guideline:

For most middle-school students, I recommend 30-minute or 45-minute sessions.

For high school students, I recommend hour-long sessions for most work, a 30-minute session for troubleshooting a specific type of problem, and a 90-minute session or longer for tackling a long essay, science lab, or similar project.

For adults, you likely know what you need. Let’s discuss and make a plan together.

Cost

A one-hour session costs $150.

All partial hours are pro-rated. For example, a 30-minute session costs $75, a 45-minute session costs $112.50, and a 90-minute session costs $225.

Payment

Payment is due at the time of the session and can be made via Zelle, Venmo at Irene_NYC, or PayPal at irenetutornyc@gmail.com

Cancellations

In the event you need to cancel, 24 hours notice is appreciated.
